If my memory serves me correctly, tomorrow is a big day for all of you making decisions about where you’re going to be spending the next four years of your life.
I’m just posting to let you know that:
1) whether you’re decided or undecided, if you have any questions at all about WashU, about anything I’ve written on my blog, or about college in general, please, ask away. Feel free to comment on either this post or anywhere else on the site that strikes your fancy. I’ve had a few questions asked here and there already, but I’d love to hear from more of you.
2) WashU is a great place to be. In case my blog isn’t evidence enough, I love this school. I could go on and on as to why, but I’ll leave it at this: I’ve never been so happy in my life as I have been here at Washington University in St. Louis. I can count on one
hand finger the number of times I’ve been genuinely upset while I was here, and it had nothing to do with school. (For those of you who are curious, it had to do with my bicycle, things falling apart, and being stuck off-campus at 1:00 in the morning after a concert. Go figure. Even then it was a group of my friends from WashU who took time out of their busy evenings/sleeping schedules to save me from what would have been a very long walk back to campus. No problem is too big that it can’t be helped at WashU.)
3) I wish you the best of luck with your decision. Go with what feels right and don’t stress out too much. I’m sure many of you have lots of great options to choose from, and that you’ll have a great time no matter where you’ll go. College is what you make of it.
