Winter at WashU

What a way to bring in the new year! I woke up early this morning to capture the first snowfall of the semester at WashU–for some of my friends, it was their first time seeing snow! Whether they were making snow angels on Mudd field or *borrowing* cafeteria trays to go sledding on Forest Park’s Art Hill, most everyone was happy to see snow on the ground after having gotten none here last year.

After a quick walk around campus I even managed to sneak a trip to Forest Park before my classes started. I didn’t want to miss out on seeing one of the most beautiful parks in the country glistening in snow–one that’s adjacent to WashU’s campus and available year-round for walks, picnics, and trips to the various attractions scattered around the park, including the art and history museums, and the zoo (where I spent my last Saturday)!

Hope you enjoyed the photos, and hope you’re having a great start to the new year!
